Carrot cake for my baby

My general philosophy on using real sugar and full fat items in baking is that we should all get the plesure


Although it is a very simple cake, this is one of the more special ones I’ve made. My precious baby turns one this week, so we had his party over the weekend. It’s a carrot cake with no refined sugar in the cake or the cream cheese frosting. He really didn’t know what to make of it, but it was so fun to make a tiny cake!




If I made the recipe again, I would likely make some changes, but I was happy to be able to make something special for his big day. I'm already thinking about ideas for next year!
